Local parish councils and other organisations are invited to a bi-annual meeting of this liaison group. As you’re probably aware, Breedon Quarry actively supports local communities with various initiatives. In recent times, they have attended to the potholes and surface at the Cloud Trail car park, made good all the paths at Worthington Cemetery and laid a gravel surface and will shortly be supporting the community with a litter pick and path clearing exercise. During the meeting, the quarry operational team presents a brief report about its activities on both sites and we agreed that it would be very useful to share this with the local community.
