…. and the mist lifted and the sun came out as we were planting daffodil bulbs. What a wonderful autumnal day to be working with some lovely volunteers who helped the parish council to provide some more Spring colour en masse. Nearly 1,000 bulbs were planted on the two big verges – junction of Rempstone Road and Lower Moor Road, and Rempstone Road and Melbourne Road. A BIG thank you to Amanda, Julie and Brian for their efforts today. And of course we must thank our clerk Callum for ensuring we had the proper permissions from Leicestershire County Council to plant on their verges.
Here’s looking forward to an impressive show of Spring colour next year!
